Summary
We are currently seeking pharmaceutical sales representatives who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment; act as the key link between the company and healthcare professionals; meet sales targets and organizational objectives. The goal is to increase the visibility and awareness of the company’s pharmaceutical products and maximize sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and understand clients’ needs and present suitable promoted products with identified customer base.
- Liaise with and persuade targeted doctors to prescribe our products utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost - benefit analysis.
- Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message.
- Provide product information and deliver product samples.
- Monitor, accumulate and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage.
- Define customer and consumer requirements by conducting market research including surveys, script audits, feedback from doctors and pharmacists.
- Maintain account receivables and collection of payments from customers.
- Manage Product Returns
- Record customer complaints in a timely and effective manner to direct Reporting Line and Customer Service Supervisor.
- Suggest ways to resolve customers’ concerns through an analysis of the problem, the customers’ requirements and Management’s goals.
- Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback to Sales/Marketing/Customer Service Department.
- Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions, symposium circuits.
- Host Cottage Meetings with Doctors, Pharmacies and any other relevant stakeholders.
- Any other related duties.
Job requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- BSc. Degree in Pharmacology/Sciences or Relevant Field
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proficient in presenting to an audience
- Any other specialized training in Sales/Marketing would be an asset
- Valid driver’s license
- Vehicle in good working condition
- A valid Trinidad & Tobago Passport
